RE/MAX New Zealand converged on the InterContinental Wellington on Friday, 5th August for its mid-year rally where attendees around New Zealand heard and learned from great speakers and networked with colleagues and RE/MAX business partners.

From across New Zealand, the network came together to hear top presenters including two-times Olympic Gold Medalist, Mahe Drysdale, who retired in 2021 as New Zealand’s most decorated Olympic rowing athlete; highly motivated ‘Endurance mindset’ speaker Cameron Stewart; the ‘King of Sale Systems’, Brett Jones; and Nick Goodall, Head of Research at CoreLogic.
Owner of Australia’s #1 & #2 ranked RE/MAX business, Hayley Van de Ven spoke as an acclaimed agent growth specialist and proud Director of the Limitless Group with the highly awarded offices of RE/MAX Results and RE/MAX Bayside Properties.
Joining the rally in person from the United States was Cheryl Luster, RE/MAX LLC Director of Global Development, who has helped drive global network growth since 2007.
RE/MAX New Zealand announced its 2022 six-month awards coinciding with the mid-year event, with offices, teams and individuals celebrating outstanding achievements.
RE/MAX Partners in Flatbush dominated in January to June office performance and was #1 for both transaction sides and commission. RE/MAX Team Realty, New Plymouth, and RE/MAX Realty Group, Warkworth, made up the top three.
Kim Gordon, RE/MAX Realty Group led the six months for commission generated and Ivan Wong Kee, RE/MAX Capital Legacy, Lower Hutt, led in transaction sides.
Making up the top three for transaction sides were Nelson agent Janice Emery, RE/MAX Elite and Scott Parkin, RE/MAX Town to Country, Ashburton.
Completing the top ten for commission were Donna Russell; Janice Emery; Ivan Wong Kee; Scott Parkin; Loua Boshoff; Wendy Diamond, Cherry Holden; Brendon Pulman; and Dilip Tailor.
Jeff Bracegirdle, RE/MAX Partners, was awarded Top Commercial Specialist based on gross settled commissions and Dilip Tailor took the Top Business Specialist award.
The team awards represented large, medium and small team categories.
Awarded top two large teams for both transaction sides and commissions were Team Jerry and Team Vinson from RE/MAX Partners, Flat Bush.
For medium teams it was Team Stevens from RE/MAX Team Realty in the lead for both.
The three winners in the small teams’ category were #1 Team Kloppers, RE/MAX Realty Group; Tang & Kidd from RE/MAX Partners (#2) and Team Edge from RE/MAX Edge in Clevedon (#3).
“We celebrated six months of truly amazing achievements,” said Mr Ha. “No market ever stays exactly the same and these results have shown how confident our real estate customers are. I am very proud that agents in our network perform so well and continue to exceed their customers’ expectations."

Mr Ha said the half year results reflected a New Zealand market in a very good position and he anticipated continued positivity and confidence in the second half of the year.
